Martina Berther and Julie Semoroz

Martina Berther and Julie Semoroz first met a few years ago backstage at Kilbi, where they were performing in different projects. At the time, there were many questions about music and only a few answers, but a shared passion for sound and research quickly emerged between the two artists.

Starting from that initial conversation, both artists went on to develop their own solo practices, staying in touch and exchanging about music from time to time. Martina later invited Julie to perform at JazzChur — an opportunity to play on the other side of Switzerland and connect with the local community.

With Röstibrücke, Julie Semoroz now invites Martina Berther into her own artistic context to exchange their current sonic visions and explorations. This first concert together celebrates the arrival of spring — and, we hope, light.
